FAQ # 3: If I seal, what's the best one?
There are many good ones, but it depends on your personal preference. For example, many prefer penetrating oil because it soaks through rather than sitting on top of the wood.
This makes it part of the wood, which many find more natural. It's also ultra-durable because it hardens, not just dries. As a result, many feel the surfaces are better protected from scratches.
